Freestone County, Texas Obituaries Mexia Daily News - Mar. 10, 2005 edition Eduardo J. Agueros, M.D. Eduardo J. Agueros, M.D. age 77, died at his home Monday, March 7, 2005. He was born August 27, 1927 in Mexico City D.F., Mexico to Carmen V. and Eduardo L. Agueros. He lived a full and happy life. He loved to travel; he enjoyed sailing and being near the ocean. He was an active man who loved spending time with his family. He had been a doctor for 50 years. His career began in Mexico in 1952, where he served as Medical Director in the Navy. While docked in Tampico, he met and married his beautiful wife, Irma. They celebrated 47 years of marriage together. He moved to the U.S. in 1958 to practice at Providence Hospital in Waco, TX. His career took him to Colorado and Mexia, TX. He and an associate owned and operated a 30-bed hospital in Wortham, TX. In 1980, he moved his family to Austin where he practiced in East Austin until his death. He is preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Elsa and a son, Eduardo Antonio. He is survived by his wife, Irma; son, Jaime and his wife, Dolores, a daughter, Irma; a son Horacio and his wife, Michelle; and 3 grandchildren, Eduardo, Mauricio and William. He will be greatly missed by his family and his many friends. The family wishes to thank the Southwood Dialysis Center and El Milagro Dialysis Center. We would like to thank Dr. James Williams, M.D., Dr. Samuel DeMaio, M.D., and Dr. Jeffery Jobe, M.D. for their ongoing care and support. The family will receive friends from 11-2 pm, Thursday, March 10, 2005 at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home with services following at 2:00pm. Fr. Gerardo Guerra will act as officiant.
