Deceased Name: Tyra Albert
FORT WORTH - Tyra Albert, a retired cook at Drake's Cafeteria, died Sunday at a
Fort Worth hospital. She was 68.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Berea Baptist Church. Burial will be in
Cedar Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 tonight at Gregory W. Spencer 
Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Albert was born in Streetman, Freestone County, and had lived in Fort 
Worth since 1942.She was a member and senior usher of New Rising Star Baptist
Church.

Survivors, all of Fort Worth: Husband for 54 years, Louis Albert; son, James
Albert; two daughters, Mary Louise Carter and Sandra A. Bell; sister, Lee 
Bertha Horn; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-
grandchild.
