Ruby Marie (Robinson) Allen
  Ruby Marie Allen, 93, of Wortham, passed from this life April 5, 2013 at her
residence in Wortham. Funeral services were held Sunday, April 7, 2013 at 2:00 
p.m. at Porter Chapel Wortham with Reverend Mike Fautt, Brother James Rincker 
and Gene Allen officiating. Burial was at Woodland Cemetery in Kirvin. Visitation 
was Saturday evening 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Porter Chapel Wortham.
  Ruby was born June 22, 1919 in Streetman, Texas to Alan & Rosa Robinson. She 
married Truman "Bud" Allen on August 1, 1935 in the Israel Community and to that 
union there were six children born.
  She was preceded in death by her parents, Alan & Rosa Robinson; husband, Truman 
"Bud" Allen, Sr.; sister, Jimmie Elizabeth Walthall; brother, Levi Edward 
Robinson; son, Truman Allen Jr., and sons-in-law, Kenneth Harrington and Richard 
Franklin. Ruby is survived by her children, Gene Allen & wife, Kay, Kenneth Allen 
& wife Wanda, Nelda Harrington, Jimmy Allen & Wife Mandy and Patsy Franklin; 18 
grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 17 great-great grandchildren.
  Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
