Shirley Irene (Williams) Allen

Shirley Irene Allen, 80, of Kirvin, passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2012 in 
Fairfield. Services were held 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 7, 2012 at Capps 
Memorial Chapel. Interment followed at St. Elmo Cemetery.

Mrs. Allen was born May 7, 1932 in Everett, Washington. She married Byron G. 
Allen, a native of Winkler on May 16, 1951 in Bremerton, Washington while Byron 
was serving in the U.S. Navy. Shirley and Byron came to Texas in 1964 from St. 
Louis, Missouri and to Freestone County in 1984. Shirley was preceded in death 
by her parents, Earl and Effie Sudds Williams and her husband Byron.

Left to cherish her memory are four children, William R. Allen of St. Peters, 
Missouri; Sharon L. Huss and husband Joe of St. Peters, Missouri; Milton B. 
Allen of Kirvin and Donna LaBeau of Warrington, Missouri; four grandchildren and 
one greatgrandchild.
