Joe Lynn Allison 
(November 1, 1945 - September 3, 2012) 

Funeral services for Mr. Joe Allison were held on Wednesday, September 5, 2012, 
at 2:00p.m. at Bowers Funeral Home in Teague. Bro. Scott Matthews officiated. A 
private interment followed at Greenwood Cemetery.

Mr. Allison passed away on Monday, September 3, 2012, at his residence in Teague. 
He was born in Houston on November 1, 1945. He attended school in Teague and 
graduated from Teague High School with the Class of 1964. Mr. Allison worked for 
the Railroad in Teague. He married Ruth Lindsey on February 29, 1996 and shared 
over sixteen years together.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth Allison of Teague; one son, Troy Allison and 
Anne and Ryker & Denham Hunt, all of Teague; daughter, Hayley Allison; step-son, 
Asa Hanrahan & wife Heather of Houston; granddaughter, Cicilia King, daughter of 
Josh & Kelley King of Paducah, KY; one sister, Donna Williams of Rockwall; one 
brother, Bill Allison & wife Sue of Teague; nieces & nephews, Jocey McCoy & 
husband Jeff, Lindsey Williams & wife Pamela, Todd Allison, Rachel Anderson & 
husband Doug, and Matt Allison; numerous great-nieces & nephews; other relatives 
and friends.

Mr. Allison was preceded in death by his parents, William (Don) and LaRue Allison.
