Allmon Dies at Streetman Special to The News CORSICANA, Texas. Nov. 23. - Funeral services for Willis O. Allmon, 45, former assistant postmaster here, who died at his home at Streetman Monday, were held Tuesday at the First Presbyterian Church in Streetman with burial in the Birdston Cemetery. Mr. Allmon lived in Corsicana may years until a few months ago when he moved to Streetman. He served as clerk, assistant postmaster and rural carrier of the Corsicana post office for sixteen years. He was retired from the postial service in March, 1936, due to ill health. Surviving are his wife; three sons, Leonard Allmon, Corsicana; Willis Jr. and Pierce Allmon, both of Streetman; a daughter, Mrs. Fred Bookout, Corsicana: two sisters, Misses Gladys and Leona Allmon, and a brother, Tom Allmon, all of Corsicana.
