Freestone County, Texas Obituaries The Fairfield Recorder Thursday, May 15, 1986 - Page 4B Pearl Anderson Funeral services were held recently for Freestone county native Pearl Anderson, 95, who died last month at Fairview Manor nursing home in Fairfield. Mrs. Anderson was born March 16, 1891, in Streetman and died April 22. She was a homemaker. Services were held at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Streetman with the Rev. Tom Hiser officiating. Burial was at Birdston Cemetery in Streetman. Special music was provided by Frank O'Banion who played "How Great Thou Art" and "Precious Memories". Pallbearers were Troy Vyers, Rodney Caldwell, Billy M. Allen, Mark Strader, Mike Strader and Robbie Martin. Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by a son, Troy, who died in 1949 and by her husband, Fred E. Anderson, who died Sept. 8, 1974. She is survived by three daughters, Beth Carroll and Louise Harrison, both of Fairfield, and Ruth Vyers of Ennis; a son, Garth Anderson of Amarillo; a sister, Mrs. Charlie Brown of Cisco; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Arrangements were made by Capps Memorial Chapel of Fairfield.
