Grady Green Anderson Sr.

Grady Green Anderson Sr., 89, of Corsicana passed away Saturday, Oct. 14, 2000
at Mel-Haven Convalescent Center.

Wake services will be 7 p.m. today at Ross and Johnson Chapel. 
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. John Baptist Church, 104 E.
20th Ave., Corsicana with the Rev. Grady Green Anderson Jr. officiating.
Interment will follow at Silent Grove Cemetery in Cheneyboro. 

Pallbearers will be Grady Anderson III, Anthony Anderson, Ishmael Anderson,
James J. Lamb, John J. Lamb, Tyrone Bonner and James Gross. Honorary
pallbearers will be James E. Bonner, Wilma Haynes, Richard Anderson, Charles
Anderson, Joe Randell and Jack Anderson. 

Mr. Anderson was born Feb. 20, 1911 in Winkler. 
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Dora Anderson; six brothers
and four sisters. 

Mr. Anderson is survived by his wife of 54 years, Rose Anna Anderson of
Corsicana; sons, the Rev. Grady Green Anderson Jr. and wife Carolyn and Tommy
Anderson; daughters, Rosella Barnes and husband Bruce, Gloria A. Williams, all
of Fort Worth, Ruth H. Combs and husband Tony of Arlington, and Elizabeth Lamb
and husband James of Duncanville; brother, Richard Anderson and wife Evangeline
of Corsicana; sister-in-law, Etta Mae Anderson of Streetman; 10 grandchildren
and six great-grandchildren.
