ANDERSON Mrs. William ANDERSON, aged about 80 years and a long time resident of Freestone County, died last Sunday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. D. R. CLARIDGE in the Turlington Community. Burial was in the old Mt. Zion Cemetery. Rev. I. O. DENT conducting services. Deceased is survived by the following children, Mrs. D. R. ANDERSON Mrs. W. I. (Marion) ANDERSON was born Dec. 11, 1851 in the state of Tennessee, coming to Texas at the age of six years, settling with her parents in Leon County. She was married to W. I. ANDERSON in 1870. Of this marriage eight children were born, seven of whom survive their mother. Jim ANDERSON, Will ANDERSON, Neil ANDERSON, Arch ANDERSON, Jess ANDERSON, Lanston ANDERSON, Piety ANDERSON (Deceased) and Mrs. D. R. CLARIDGE. Mrs. ANDERSON died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. D. R. CLARIDGE, Mar. 8, 1926 in the Turlington Community, Freestone County., in which community she had passed a major portion of her long and useful life. She was a devoted Christian, a true wife, a loving mother and a loyal friend. Her life was rich with service to her children, to her community and to Christianity. May god comfort her bereaved children and friends with sweet assurance that hope is in peace, in the enjoyment of the reward our lord promised to his children. F. R.
