A. T. Watson

A. T. (Tas) Watson died in his home in Stewards Mill Wed. noon and his remains
were interred in the Stewards Mill Cemetery the following day. Mr. Watson
had long been a sufferer from cancer and this resulted in his death. Deceased
was an old time resident of the county. He was successful in all his business
undertakings and accumulated considerable wealth. He was a member of the
Baptist church and led a consistent Christian life. He was always ready
to expend the money for the benefit of the community church and the widow
and orphan. He leaves to mourn his death his wife and three sons, C.H.,
Ed. M., and Tery Watson.
