"FAIRFIELD

Mrs. Delia Bell Awalt, 19, died at her home in Ward Prairie community last
Monday after a lingering illness of about 30 days.  Her remains were interred
in the Stewards Mill cemetery Tuesday.  The deceased is survived by a husband,
Mr. Boyd Awalt, and a baby boy."

[Note - I show her as the wife of Marcus Llyod Awalt instead of what the
newspaper states.  Her maiden name was Cannon.  They married at Post Oak on 9
Dec 1922.  Marcus later marries Nora Lee Ivy on 9 Feb 1929 in Fairfield.  The
baby boy is Marcus Cannon Awalt born 9 Feb 1924 at Stewards Mill.]
