Mental Health Mental Retardation Organizations: First Baptist Church BIOGRAPHY Hope Baker, 99, of Fairfield, passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2013 in Fairfield. Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 12, 2013 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Benny Mize and Rev. Ken Pruitt officiating. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery in Kirvin under the direction of Capps Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at Capps Memorial Chapel.  Mrs. Baker was born August 28, 1914 near the Stewards Mill Community of Freestone County; to parents Jim Billie and Nannie Belle York Bonner. She attended school at Bonnerville and graduated high school in Fairfield. She married Edward Baker on December 23, 1939 and he preceded her in death in 1973. She was retired from the Texas Dept. of Mental Health and Mental Retardation. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fairfield. In addition to her husband and parents she was also preceded in death by one sister, Laura Belle Bonner; four brothers, Joel Andrew Bonner, Sr.; Jim Billie Bonner, Jr.; Samuel Laird Bonner; John Y. Bonner.  Left to cherish her memory is her brother, Albert Bonner, Sr. and wife Maxine of Fairfield; one son; two grandchildren, LaDonna Spain and Luke Baker both of Wichita Falls, TX; four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and her special caregiver, Robin Cox.  VISITATION Wednesday December 11, 2013, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Capps Memorial Chapel  FUNERAL SERVICE Thursday December 12, 2013, 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church
