Alice Faye (Barree) Ballard

Alice Faye Barree Ballard, 61, of Corsicana passed away Thursday, March 18,
2004, in Pasadena.

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, March 27, at Lifeline Fellowship Family
Church, West State Highway 31, Corsicana, with Pastor Ricky Walter officiating.
Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Streetman.

Pallbearers will be Albert Carter, Eric Davis, Donald Davis, Rodney Thomas,
Sterling Williams, Courtney Holmes, Dominic Ballard, LaBrent Lee, Ira Barree
III and Sebastian Barree.

Mrs. Ballard was born Feb. 18, 1943, in Streetman. She was a member of Lifeline
Fellowship Family Church. She received her education at Dogan High School in
Fairfield, and served as a board member of the NAACP.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Ira Barree Jr.; and husband, Sterling
Ballard Sr.

Survivors include four daughters, Myrlnette Ballard, Vanesia Betts, Tessa
Ballard and Crystal Ballard Davis; three sons, Booker T. Ballard, Anthony
Ballard and Sterling Ballard Jr.; mother, Ethel Barree; one brother, the Rev.
Aubrey Barree; 18 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and
other relatives.
