WORTHAM — Funeral services were to be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Walker’s Chapel, 
B.T. Ballard Funeral services were scheduled for 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Calhoun 
Funeral Chapel for Booker T. Ballard, 62, who was killed by a pick-up truck 
Wednesday Aug. 23 while walking across the street in Seminole, Tex. Rev. E.J. 
Jones will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Freestone County. 
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Myrtle Ballard of Fairfield; a son, Sterling 
Ballard of Fairfield; a brother, George Ballard of Dallas; two sisters... [paper
