On the morning of Jan. 2, 1898, Mrs. John Barker passed away into the sweet 
beyond. She leaves to mourn her loss three sons and one daughter. May they so 
live in this world as to meet her again in that land so bright and fair. Her 
remains were interred in Fairfield Cemetery on the following day. Peace to her 
ashes.
