Dorothy Jean (Folk) Barlow

Dorothy Jean Folk Barlow, 75, of Fairfield, passed away Monday, August 3, 2009 
at Fairview Healthcare.

Mrs. Barlow was born in Fairfield on July 18, 1934 to the late Rev. Freddie and 
Lurana Folk and lived most of her life in Fairfield.

Services were held Thursday, August 6, 2009 at Calvary Baptist Church where she 
was a longtime member, and was officiated by Rev. Terry Skinner and Rev. Ricky
Missildine. Music was provided by Leslie Freeman. Interment followed at Lake
Chapel Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers were grandson Ben Barlow, nephews Bobby Pipes, David 
Pipes, Jody Folk, Larry Stukey and cousin Larry Folk.

Mrs. Barlow is survived by her daughter, Linda Brierly and husband Wendell of
Sparks, NV, daughter Pat Jones and husband Jim of Bristol, TN, son Billy Barlow
and wife Lupe of Fairfield and daughter Darlene Paulk and husband Cliff of 
Marshall, TX.

Also surviving are eight grandchildren, Michelle Owens and husband Ron of 
Sparks, NV, Stacy Mason and husband Jesse of Truckee, CA, Jake and Jack Jones 
of Bristol, TN, Ben and Zac Barlow of Fairfield, and Brooke and Hope Paulk of 
Marshall, TX, as well as four greatgranddaughters Abbey, Beth, Catie and Dani 
Mason of Truckee, CA.

Mrs. Barlow is also survived by her brother, Joe Folk and wife Sue of 
Kirbyville, TX and her sis- ter, Freida Pipes and husband Robert of Andrews, 
TX.

She will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Gallegos family for
all their love and support and to the staff of Fairview Healthcare for their 
kindness and care.
