Ozie H. Barry

WEATHERFORD -- Ozie H. Barry, 74, died Monday, Oct. 2, 2000, at a Fort Worth 
hospital.

Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Stephens Catholic Church. The Rev. Liam 
Sweeney officiated. Burial: Memory Gardens Memorial Park in Weatherford.

Ozie H. Barry was born in Streetman on July 24, 1926. She attended school in 
Wortham and moved to Wink where she graduated from Wink High School in 1944.
She married Hugh Barry on Oct. 23, 1944. She was a former longtime resident of
Kermit and Midland and had resided in Weatherford for 13 years.

She was preceded in death by a son, James Anthony Barry, and a sister, Lonnie
Foster. 

Survivors: Husband, Hugh Barry Sr. of Weatherford; sons, Hugh P. Barry Jr. of 
Weatherford, Robert V. Barry of Oklahoma City, Okla., Richard W. Barry of 
Sugarland and Stephen G. Barry of Eastland; daughter, Rita Sharp of Midlothian;
10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and sisters, Mary Jo Lunsford of 
Roswell, N.M., and Hilda Whittaker of Monahans.
