Kenneth Wayne "Bubba" Bartlett Jr.

JEWETT — Services for Kenneth Wayne “Bubba” Bartlett Jr., 68, of Jewett are set
for 2 p.m. Monday at Ricks-Bowers Funeral Home Chapel in Jewett.

The Rev. Duncan Graham will officiate. Burial will be in Sardis Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to the time of services Monday at the funeral
home.

Mr. Bartlett died Friday at his home.

He was born in Katy and served in the U.S. Army. He was a self-employed
construction contractor and a Protestant.

Survivors include his wife, Velma Joyce Bartlett of Robbins; four daughters and
sons-in-law, Cindy and Jimmy Vaughn of Dew, Connie and Joe Hall of Robbins,
Cathy and Karl Johnson of Marquez and Carmen and Jasper Barnett of Lovelady; a
sister, Zoe Ellen Bartlett Mellard of Katy; three sisters and brothers-in-law,
Dorothy and Walter Smidovec of Sealy, Alma and Gene Burkett of Porter and Rosie
and Lee Requardt of Beasley; and eight grandchildren.
