Freestone County, Texas Obituaries The Bryan-College Station Eagle Tuesday, August 16, 2005 Loyd Allen 'Jack' Baty Sept. 20, 1921 - Aug. 14, 2005 BUFFALO - Graveside services for Loyd Allen "Jack" Baty, 83, of Buffalo are set for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Union Cemetery in Freestone County. The Rev. Travis "Bo" Davis of Grace Tabernacle in Dew will officiate. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m., at Buffalo Funeral Home. Mr. Baty died Sunday at Copper Creek Nursing Home in Buffalo. He was born in Anderson County and lived in Buffalo for 50 years. He was a farmer and rancher. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Dushane Baty. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, David Allen and Debra Baty of Muddrow, Okla., and John Franklin and Rita Baty of Buffalo; a daughter and son-in-law, Linda Nell and Curtis Red of Fairfield; three grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous stepgreat-grandchildren.
