Death of Mrs. W. R. Beene

Mrs. W. R. Beene, aged 57 years, died Monday evening at 9:00 oclock. Monday
was her fifty-seventh birthday. Funeral services were conducted at Salem
cemetery by Rev. M. L. Hunt Tues. afternoon at 4:00 oclock. Mrs. Beene
had been ill for more than a year. She is survived by her husband and one
brother, J. M. Miller. She had no children.
