  Mr. Mat Bell, and old citizen of Cotton Gin community, died last week. He has
been a resident of the county about thirty-five years, and had a large number of 
friends and acquaintances, and was highly esteemed by all. He was a high-tones
Christian gentleman and will be much missed by his neighbors. His remains were
buried last Sunday at Woodland.
