Granderson Deroyston "Dee" Black

Funeral services for Mr. Granderson Deroyston "Dee" Black, age 99, of Mexia
were held on Thursday, August 15, at 10:00 am in the Porter Funeral Home Chapel
in Mexia. Mr. Black passed away on Mondauy, August 12. A farmer, Mr. Black had
been named "Farmer of the Year" in 1951, 1959, and 1960. He was a member of the
Northcrest Church of Christ in Mexia. He was also a member of the Springfield
Masonic Lodge #74. Interment was in the Wortham Cemetery in Wortham.
