Dee "Faira" (Weldon) Black

Funeral Services for Mrs. Dee (Faira) Black, 71, of Mexia will be conducted
Wed. at 2 pm in the Ross Ave. Church of Christ. A native of Currie (Freestone
County), Mrs. Black died Sunday night at 7:30 in Wortham Hospital. She was a
member of the Church of Christ. Officating will be Mr. Kirk Castleman, minister
of the Ross Ave. Church of Christ. Burial will be in Wortham City Cemetery,
under direction of Riddle Funeral Home. Surviving are her husband, of Mexia, a
daughter, Mrs. Clyde Mackey, of Mexia; three sons, Weldon Black of Mexia, Glenn
Black of Houston and Vannoy Black of Haskell; two sisters Mrs. Ruth Murphy of
Wortham and Mrs. Clyde Stubbs of Bowie; two brothers, Tom Weldon of Cleburne
and Millard Weldon of Big Springs; and eight grand children.
