Yvonne Blakeley

TEAGUE - Funeral services for Mrs. Yvonne Blakeley, 85, will be Friday morning
at 10:30 in First United Methodist Church. The Rev. Charles Jordan will
officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, under direction of
Ricks-Bowers Funeral Home.

Mrs. Blakeley, born Dec. 24, 1918, in Teague, died Wednesday at Parkview
Regional Hospital-Mexia. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, and
loved playing the piano.

She graduated in 1936 from Teague High School, and was a Secretary for the
Burlington Northern-Rock Island Railroad in Teague for 33 years. Mrs. Blakeley
enjoyed working in her yard and liked to travel.

Surviving are a son, John Blakely of Teague; two nieces, Sally Gregory and
husband Stanley of Fairfield, and Kathy Holloway of Plano; three nephews, Pat
Neil Owens of California, Jerry Dodd of Waco and Tommy Dodd of Mansfield; and a
sister-in-law, Hestha Dodd of Waco.
