Mexia Daily News- Mar. 26, 2004 edition Clinton Bluitt Funeral Services for Clinton Bluitt will be held at 2:00p.m. Saturday, March 27th, 2004 at First Baptist Church - 500 East Carthage Street-Mexia, Texas. Visitation will be Friday, March 26th, 2004 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00p.m. at Blair Stubbs Funeral Home, Mexia, Texas. Interment will be at Cotton Gin Cemetery, Cotton Gin Community. Arrangements are under the direction of Blair Stubbs Funeral Home. The pages of this book began for Clinton Bluitt on September 5,1939 in Freestone County to the parentage of Henry Baker and Naomi Culton. He attended Dunbar School in Mexia, Texas. He met and married Clara Heggins who preceded him in death. Later he met and married Linda Henry, November 19th, 1982. From this union two lovely daughters were born Candice Latrice and Kimyetta Andrea. He was employed by Blair Stubbs for over 48 years. He attended church at Gibson Chapel in his younger years. The angel of silence came for him at Parkland Hospital, March 24th, 2004 at 5:16 p.m. with the comfort of his family at his side. He was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Henry Baker; two brothers: Clarence Bluitt and Eugene Baker; and one sister, Mary Anne Zamora. He leaves to cherish his precious memories his mother, Naomi Culton of Mexia, Texas; two loving daughters: Candice Bluitt and Kimyetta Bluitt of Mexia, Texas; one grandson: Kevon O'Neil Sheppard; best friend, Mrs. Linda Bluitt of Mexia, Texas; three children he cared and loved for deeply as his own: Victor Taulton of Mexia, Texas, Lisa Wilson of Ennis, Texas, and Kodijha Henderson of Waco, Texas; brothers: Leon Baker, Leonard Baker, Emanuel Baker, Donald Baker, Milton Baker, all of Fort Worth, Texas, and Jimmy L. Baker of Houston, Texas; sisters: Betty King, Maggie Agers, Myrtle Robinson, and Henrietta Carter, all of Fort Worth, Texas; aunts: Jessie B. Green of Clovis, New Mexico; Elnora Childs of Mexia, Texas, Geraldine Carter of Dallas, and Willie Mae Baker Thomas of Fort Worth, Texas; uncle: Charlie Baker of Mexia, Texas; special nephew: James Freemen; special family: The Blair Stubbs Family; host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives; and friends.
