SARAH BOND BURIED THURSDAY AT PT. ENTERPRISE Mrs. Sarah E. Bond, 68 years old, was buried in Point Enterprise community cemetery Thursday afternoon following services conducted by the Rev. W. R. Blackmon, a neighboring minister, at the family home. Mrs. Bond died of an attack of influenza at her Point Enterprise home after illness which had confined her to her bed for 12 years. She was the wife of F. B. Bond, prominent farmer, and had resided at Point Enterprise since 1900. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Bond is survived by three children, Mrs. Alton Kerzee, Pt. Enterprise; John T. Bond, Ft. Worth, and Mrs. Vernon Cox, of Pt. Enterprise, and the following stepchildren: D. L. Bond of Ackerley, Texas; Mrs. H. C. Callaway, of Lamesa, Texas; George S. Bond, Crosbyton, Texas; Mrs. A. D. Creel, of Bayton, Texas; Bowlen Bond, county attorney of Freestone county, Fairfield; Mrs. J. A. Shumaker, of Tuscon, Ariz., and Miss Ava Bond of Dallas. Two sisters, Mrs. Ed Tooke, of Fallon, and Mrs. Ollie Harris, Teague, and two brothers, Henry Callaway, Temple, and Tom Callaway, Streetman. The John R. Corley company was in charge of the funeral.
