Freestone County, Texas Obituaries Corsicana Daily Sun - January 23, 2006 edition Jim Bonner - 1/23/06 Jim Bonner, 82, of Eureka passed away Saturday, Jan. 21, 2006 at Trinity Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home Chapel with Steve Orbison and Russell Bankes officiating. Interment will follow at Eureka Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bill Chandler, Elmo Guerry, Stewart Springer, Robert Boyd, Buster Atkeisson and Carroll Sigman. Honorary pallbearers will be J.D. Carroll, Ray Dean Carroll, Dr. John Harper, Louis Calfee, Pat Childers and Don Ridge. Mr. Bonner was born May 12, 1923 to Fred Hill Bonner and Sarah Frances McClure Bonner in Frost. He served in World War II in the United States Marine Corps. He was a member of the Eureka Masonic Lodge and was a Past Master. Survivors include his wife, Bernice Mourine Bonner of Eureka; son Dennis Bonner and wife Pat of Conroe; daughter Becky Ridge and husband Don of Wortham; son David Bonner and wife Beverly of Eureka; grandchildren William Bonner and Sarah Bonner of Conroe, Chad Ridge and Joey Ridge of Wortham, and James Bonner, Ashley Bonner and Kasey Bonner of Eureka.
