Freestone County, Texas Obituaries Corsicana Daily Sun - May 8, 2007 Homer Paul Bonner Apr 29, 1939 - May 6, 2007 Homer Paul Bonner Homer Paul Bonner, 68, of Wortham and formerly of Streetman, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2007, at Wortham Nursing Home. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home in Fairfield. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Griffin-Roughton Chapel with the Rev. Ed Ridge officiating. Interment will follow at Birdston Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Doyle Cannon, Kent Whatley, Jerry Richards, Brett Carroll, Buddy Robinson and Clyde Ridge. Mr. Bonner was born April 29, 1939, in Teague to Ernest Bonner and Afton Fullerton Bonner. He was a rancher. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Bonner in 2006; and son, H.P. Bonner Jr. in 1962. Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Duane West of Tehuacana, Paulette and Lamar Addy of Mexia, and Marlyn and Lance Bland of West; grandchildren, Dellynn Pratt, Randall Addy and Macy Savage; sister-in- law, Cheryl Mullens; and brother-in-law, Jimmy Carter.
