Freestone County, Texas Obituaries [This is Tom Robinson "Tuck" Bonner, Jr.; son of Tom Robinson & Annie Laura (Willard) Bonner.] Fairfield Recorder - August 13, 2009 Tom "Tuck" Bonner Tom (Tuck) Bonner, 73, of Fairfield, passed away July 27, 2009 at his residence. He was born December 8, 1935 in Corsicana to Tom Robinson and Anna Laura Willard Bonner. Mr. Bonner loved his family. For many years he was the primary caregiver for his mother and aunt. Pam and Kim are his two daughters and Mr. Bonner "adopted" Paul and Susan Marberry and Kent Whatley to round out the family. He loved to travel and shared many trips with family and friends. An active contributing member of the Fairfield community, Mr. Bonner served on the board of First National Bank until 1986, ten years as a volunteer fireman, eight years as a deputy, 10 years on the hospital board of directors and was part of the group when the current hospital was built. A member of the Masons for 34 years, Mr. Bonner was also a member of First United Methodist Church of Fairfield. He is survived by wife Carol Bonner of Fairfield, daughters Pam Ivison of Ennis, Kim and Lawrence Mireles of Ennis, grandchildren Aaron and Lacey, Dustin, Colton, Candice, Amber and Barry, and Brittney, and great randchildren Blayton, Jace, Addison, Chloe, Daylan. Services were Friday July 31, 2009 at the Methodist Church with Rev. Paul Kethley officiating. Burial followed at Bonner Cemetery. Memorial book is available.
