JOYCE WATSON BONNER
August 6, 1923 - August 8, 2013
Joyce Watson Bonner, 90, of Fairfield, passed away Thursday, August 8, 2013 at 
her residence. Mrs. Bonner was born August 6, 1923 in the Stewards Mill Community 
of Freestone County; to parents Marvin and Sallie Manahan Watson. She married 
Billie Hugh Bonner on January 30, 1942 and he preceded her in death on April 13, 
2001. Mrs. Bonner had been a member of Fairfield Harmony Presbyterian Church 
since her marriage to Mr. Bonner. During the following years she either taught 
Sunday School or served as Sunday School Superintendent until turning 65. She 
was a recipient of the Lifetime Women of the Church Award and a past member of 
the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW Post 5872 in Fairfield. 

Left to cherish her memory are her three children, Billie Hugh Bonner, Jr. of 
Fairfield; Frank Watson Bonner and wife Alice of Fairfield; Sara Bonner Wren 
and husband Joe of Fairfield; a brother, John Manahan Watson of Katy; eight 
grandchildren, Barbara Sue Bonner; Billie Hugh Bonner, III; Tom Robert Bonner; 
Tyler Reynolds Bonner; Anna Catherine Richards; Laura Grace Kelley; Danny Joe 
Wren, Jr.; Michael Lee Wren; eleven great-grandchildren.

Rev. Tom Prentiss officiating 

Interment:
Monday August 12, 2013 at Bonner Cemetery
