Freestone County, Texas Obituaries Annie Lou (Steele) Bonner July 21, 1922 - September 28, 2012 Mrs. Bonner was born July 21, 1922 in the Midway community of Freestone County; to parents Edward Elijah and Mary Naoma Richmond Steele. She had been a Freestone County resident most of her life. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Fairfield. Mrs. Bonner was known for her hand made tea towels and handwritten cookbooks both of which were treasured by her grandchildren and others. Mrs. Bonner was preceded in death by a son, Leldon T. Brown; five brothers and two sisters. Pallbearers were grandsons, Leldon Bonner, Rocky Bonner, Larry Bonner, James L. Bonner, Charles W. Bonner and Andrew Wilson.  Left to cherish her memory are four children, Mary Ann Wilson and husband Logan of Forest Glade; John R. Bonner of Fairfield; James E.
