Freestone County, Texas Obituaries Lillie Mae (Lansford) Bonner May 7, 1926 - November 24, 2012 Lillie Mae Bonner, 86, of Fairfield, passed away Saturday, November 24, 2012 in Fairfield. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Capps Memorial Chapel with Mr. David Filis and Rev. T. Paul Kethley officiating. Interment will follow at Bonner Cemetery. Mrs. Bonner was born May 7, 1926 in the Wortham area; to parents Nathaniel and Lillie Belle Chapman Lansford. She was a lifetime area resident. She married Joel A. Bonner on March 11, 1946 in Wortham. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Fairfield. Lillie Mae was a talented artist who completed many crochet, sewing, arts and crafts projects during her lifetime. She enjoyed these avenues of creativity. Lillie Mae was always surrounded by family whom she loved very much. They were a tremendous joy in her daily activities. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Tommy Lansford; two sisters, Alice Ryno and Beatrice Rosser. Left to cherish her memory is her husband Joel A. Bonner; two sons, Joel (Jody) Andrew Bonner Jr. and wife Barbara of Fairfield; Larry Lansford Bonner of Longview; five grandchildren, Jason Andrew Bonner of Bryan-College Station; Joel Matthew Bonner of Fairfield; Larry Kent Bonner and wife Sarah of Mexia; Aimee Michele Posey and husband Michael of Fairfield; Tiffany Kay Ellis and husband John of Longview; seven great-grandchildren, Larry Kent Bonner, Jr., Karlie Bonner, Michael Blake Posey, Paige Michele Posey, Addison Elise Posey, Dylan Anderson and Coen Andrew Ellis.
