Freddie Bonner

Services for Freddie Bonner, 70, of Oakwood, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Lone 
Star Cemetery under the direction of Emanuel Funeral Home.

Mr. Bonner died Tuesday in Palestine.

He was born June 29, 1932, in Freestone County to Arthur and Allie Bonner.

Mr. Bonner attended school in Butler. He was a member of Lone Star Baptist Church.
e served in the U.S. Army from 1953-55.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Brendette Lagale; and brother, Tom Terry.

Mr. Bonner is survived by his wife of 47 years, Carrie B. Bonner of Oakwood; 
sons, Freddie L. Bonner and Charles Bonner, both of Oakwood, and Freddie Jackson 
of Waco; daughters, Annie Bell Bonner of Fairfield and Alice Mae Beck of Oakwood; 
brothers, Charlie Bonner of Lubbock and Washington “Bud” Terry of Dallas; sisters, 
Frankie Terry and Muggie Manning, both of Oakwood; seven grandchildren; and two 
great-grandchildren.
