J. P. Bonner

FLOYDADA (Special) Services for J.P. Bonner, 73, of Floydada will be at 11 a.m.
Tuesday at the Mount Zion Baptist Church of Floydada with the Rev. Ralph 
Jackson, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Moore-Rose-White 
Funeral Home of Floydada.

He died Wednesday, May 24, 2000, at his residence.

He was born March 16, 1927, in Streetman. He attended schools in Streetman and
moved to Floydada from Streetman in 1942. He married Iva Jewell Taylor on Oct.
30, 1944, in Floydada. He was a farmer and a Methodist.

Survivors include his wife; four sons, Johnny B. of Indianapolis, Ind., Wilmer
R. of Missouri City and Reginald L. and Charles K., both of Floydada; a 
daughter, Sandra K. Bonner Sims of Houston; a brother, Johnny B. Jr., of 
Corsicana; two sisters, Ora Belle Friday of Tulsa, Okla., and Mary L. Taylor
of Corsicana; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
