She was born May 14, 1924 in Teague, Texas to Julian S. and Sue (Gamewell) Baggett. She grew up in Teague and was a graduate of Teague High School. She married Donald E. Booth on October 14, 1959 in Austin, Texas. They have lived in Plainview, Sinton and Austin prior to moving to Belton, in 1965. She was an active member of the first Presbyterian Church of Belton where she was church secretary for 11 years, she also was a Deacon and choir member. Survivors include her husband Donald E. Booth of Belton, first cousin, Thomas James Mowlam and wife Mary Ann of Lago Vista and second cousin Ruby Hale and husband Billy of Sugarland. Services for Dorothy Booth, age 81, of Belton will be held Monday, January 16, 2006 at 11:00 a.m., at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Judy Liljestarnd officiating. Visitation will be form 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., on Sunday, January 15, 2006 at Dossman Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery in Teague, Texas.
