Florence Grace (Mickey) Bottoms

TEAGUE - Funeral Mass for Mrs. Florence Grace (Mickey) Bottoms, 71, of Teague,
will be conducted Thursday morning at 11 o'clock in St. Mary's Catholic
Church-Mexia, with the Rev. Benji Magnaye officiating. Burial will be in
Greenwood Cemetery, under direction of Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home of Teague.

Rosary will be recited Wednesday evening from 6 until 7 o'clock in Blair-Stubbs
Chapel-Teague.

Family visitation is scheduled at Blair-Stubbs Chapel-Teague for Wednesday
night from 7 until 9 o'clock.

A member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Mexia, Mrs. Bottoms was known as a
loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of the
Ladies Auxiliary (Pink Ladies) at Parkview Regional Hospital-Mexia. She had
resided in Illinois, then in Teague for the past 15 years.

Mrs. Bottoms, born in Chicago, Illinois, on June 3, 1932, was preceded in death
by her parents, Arthur and Florence Buhrfiend, and by two sisters, Winifred
Buhrfiend and Bertha Sims. Mrs. Bottoms died Sunday in Mexia.

Surviving are her husband, Jerry W. Bottoms of Teague; six children - David and
Maureen Bottoms of Farmington Hills, Michigan, Gail and Dickie Moore of Teague,
Gary and Sandy Bottoms of Bradley, Illinois, Pamela and John Douthit of
Garland, Kimberly and Daniel McCracken of Bourbonnais, Illinois, and Kenneth
and Lee Ann Bottoms of Spring; grandchildren - Julie Moore, Jennifer Ward and
husband Cory, Eric and Ellise Bottoms, Michael Nicotra, Garrett and Lauren
Bottoms, Kevin and Kaitlin McCracken, Kyle and Christopher Bottoms; a
great-grandchild, Hayden Ward; two sisters, Jacquelyn Swanberg of Bensenville,
Illinois, and Marie Petraitis of Midlothian, Virginia; and a brother, Arthur
Buhrfiend of St. Joseph, Michigan.

Pallbearers are Ellise Bottoms, J.W. Bottoms, Neal Bottoms, Blaine Bottoms,
Jeff Swanberg and Troy Swanberg.
