Freestone County, Texas Obituaries Mexia Daily News - May. 3, 2005 edition Wretha Adell (Vest) Bounds WORTHAM - Funeral services for Mrs. Wretha Adell Bounds, 91, of Wortham, will be conducted this afternoon at 2:00 in First United Methodist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Henry Lawson, and assisting will be Connie McClinton. Burial will be in Wortham Cemetery, under direction of Porter Chapel-Wortham. Mrs. Bounds, born Oct. 25, 1913, in Personville, died Friday in Wortham Rehabilitation Center. She was a past-Matron of the Order of The Eastern Star, had been involved in the Foster Grandparent program at Mexia State School, and was a member of Wortham's First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Bounds; by a son, Fred W. Lee, and by a brother, Clifford L. Vest. Memorial donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Wortham, or to the Wortham Cemetery Association. Surviving are a sister and brother-in-law, Zulette and Grafton Partney of Iowa Park; a daughter-in-law, Mary Alice Lee of Wortham; a son and daughter-in-law, Donald L. and Mary Lee of Teague; ; a daughter, Glinda L. Hold of Wortham; a niece, Barbara Reiling and husband Fred of Bossier City, Louisiana; and three nephews and wives - Joe and Kay Madera of Olney, Jim and Reba Madera of Electra, Ron and Bette Vest of Highland, California. Also surviving are grandchildren - Karen and Rick Hogan of Grapevine, Kevin R. Lee of Streetman, Kelly Lee and David Hale of Corsicana, Kyle and Gayle Hold of Hallsville, Kimberly and Michael Hook of Wortham, and Jason Lee of Denton; great-grandchildren - Kacee Lee Garlan d of Corsicana, Kameron Hogan of Grapevine, Kaleb Hook of Wortham, Casey Hale of Corsicana and Justin Hale of Corsicana. Pallbearers are James Allen Black, Jerry Calame, Dwight Cherry, Marles Pace, Duard LeFevre and Owen Morgan.
