Dorothy Eloise (Willard) Brackeen

Dorothy Eloise Brackeen, 82, of Ferris passed away Monday, May 9, 2005, in 
Ferris.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Corley Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Thursday at Lake Chapel Cemetery in Freestone 
County with the Rev. James Southard officiating.

Mrs. Brackeen was born Dec. 4, 1922, in Desdemona.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Brackeen; mother, Coral Lela 
Hoffman; father, John Fletcher Willard; brother, Powell Fletcher Willard; and 
sisters, Marjorie Willard and Helen Mayes.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Tony Jordan of 
Ferris; granddaughters, Angela Southard of Mesquite and Jennifer Lewis of 
McKinney; grandson, Roy Jordan of Waxahachie; great-granddaughters, Heather 
Southard and Holly Southard, both of Mesquite; great-grandsons, James Southard 
of Mesquite and Ty Jordan of Waxahachie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
