Deceased Name: Helen Ruth Brantley


FORT WORTH - Helen Ruth Brantley, a homemaker, died Tuesday at a Fort Worth 
hospital. She was 81.

Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Brown, Gause-Ware, Owens & Brumley 
Funeral Directors. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park.

Brown, Gause-Ware, Owens & Brumley Funeral Directors is in charge of 
arrangements.

Mrs. Brantley was born in Freestone County and had lived in Fort Worth since 
1934.

Mrs. Brantley was a member of Travis Avenue Baptist Church, the Bromeliad 
Society of Fort Worth, the Orchid Society of Fort Worth and the Southside 
Garden Club.

Survivors: Son, James Brantley of Crowley; four sisters, Thelma McMillan, 
Dorothy Wallace Pool and Marie Leath, all of Fort Worth, and Mozell Karl of 
Houston; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
