Jimmy Luther Brewer

Funeral services were held last week for Jimmy Luther Brewer, 69, of Buffalo who
died Wednesday, April 2.

Mr. Brewer was born in Teague on July 17, 1938, to parents Edgar and Lola Brewer.
He was a graduate of Buffalo high school and a member of First Baptist Church.
Mr. Brewer enjoyed working on tractors, riding horses, drawing pictures and 
writing poetry.

Services were held at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 4, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel
with Dale Osteen and Travis Davis officiating.

Interment followed at Buffalo Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Gene Scott, Ricky Kilgore, Jr., Caleb Grant, Dudley Brewer, 
J.W. Brewer and Joshua Brewer. Honorary pallbearers were Adolph Rodell, Charles
Brogden, Roger White, Charlie Waters, Buford Cooper and Timoteo Bueno.

Mr. Brewer is survived by brother Joe Brewer and wife Dixie of Buffalo; 
daughters Melissa Grant and husband Robert, Michelle Allbritton and Elizabeth 
Brewer all of Buffalo; son Jimmie Brewer, Jr. and wife Brenda of Keechi; 
grandchildren Emilie Prater and Amber Hawley of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Ricky 
Kilgore, Jr. and wife Christina of Buffalo, Stephanie Adams and husband 
Johnathan of Grand Prairie, Christina Grant of Wilmer, Caleb, Patrick, and Ryan
Grant, all of Buffalo, Dudley Brewer and wife Rebecca of Houston, Haylee Brewer
of Buffalo, J.W. Brewer and wife Krystal of Buffalo and Joshua Brewer of Buffalo;
great grandchildren Conley Prater and Cason Heron of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jernon 
Hawley and Kaiden Loep of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Rhett and Dirk Kilgore of Parker's 
Lake, Kentucky, Andie Kilgore of Buffalo, Ryan Marie King of Albuquerque, New 
Mexico, Kayla and Johnathan Adams of Grand Prairie, Grant Czerwinski of Wilmer, 
Abigail Brewer of Houston and Allison Brewer of Buffalo.

He is preceded in death by wife Laura "Lollie" Brewer; parents Edgar and Lola 
Brewer; and grandson Andy Lee Hawley.
