Barbara Pauline (Miller) Broaddus


Graveside services for Barbara Pauline Broaddus, 81, of Coppell, Texas, formerly of 
Bonham, were held on Thursday, February 21, 2008, at Willow Wild Cemetery under the 
direction of Wise Funeral Home, Bonham, Texas.

Barbara passed away on Sunday, February 17, 2008, at Arlington Villa Nursing and 
Retirement. She was born on October 24, 1926, in Teague, Texas, daughter of Mr. and 
Mrs. George Miller. She was a graduate of Teague High School and raised three children 
before going to work at Texas Instruments.

She finished her career at TI in Dallas. Barbara sang in the church choir. She loved 
making her grandma Polly’s corn beef hash for her grandchildren on Sunday, and 
enjoyed making french toast for her family. She was an avid Dallas Cowboy’s fan and 
loved going to Shreveport to gamble with her friends.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and her son Michael Patrick Cauley on 
March 17, 1976.

Mrs. Broaddus is survived by her son John Thomas Cauley and wife Linda of Coppell; 
her daughter Mona Sue Cauley of Arlington; her grandchildren and her great grandson; 
her niece Dana Kay Dewitt of Lewisville and her Nephew Mark Rogers of Sanger.
