STEVEN E. "STEVE" BROOKS

Mr. Steven E. "Steve" Brooks, of Fairfield, Texas, passed away on Monday, April 
23, 2007, in Houston, Texas. He was 57 years old.

Mr. Brooks was born on May 18, 1949, in Garland, Texas, to Roy and Jerry Brooks.

Funeral services for Mr. Brooks were held on Friday, April 27, 2007, at First 
Baptist Church in Fairfield with Rev. Mack Roller officiating.

Mr. Brooks is survived by his wife Lecia Carroll Brooks of Fairfield, his son 
Alex Brooks of Fairfield, his father Roy Brooks of Garland, his step-children 
Michel and Andreas Garcia of Fairfield, Charles "Bubba" Gilliam, Jr. of Austin
and Stephanie and Carl Starry of Plano, his brothers Bill and Doniese Brooks of
Garland, Jeff Brooks of California, Mike and Shirlette Brooks of Wiley and his
grandchild Carlos Steven Garcia of Fairfield.

He was preceded in death by his mother Jerry Brooks.

Pallbearers for Mr. Brooks were the Fairfield Police Department.

Capps Memorial Chapel of Fairfield was in charge of the arrangements.
