Cindy (Stonecipher) Brooks

Funeral services were held Sunday for Cindy Brooks, 60, of Teague who died 
Thursday, April 23, in Dallas.

Mrs. Brooks was a dedicated mother and grandmother who enjoyed cooking and 
caring for her family.

She was also a faithful member of Teague's Eighth Avenue Baptist Church.

Services were held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 26, at Eighth Avenue Baptist 
Church with Steve Cowart officiating.

Interment followed at Greenwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Brooks is survived by her sons, Richard D. Brooks and wife Stephanie of 
Pasadena, and Dwayne D. Brooks of Teague; daughter, Tricia Casaubon Richey and 
husband Brent of Teague; her "daughters in love", Cheri Cook of Teague and Diane 
Quitilla of Temple; grandchildren, Lacie Casaubon, Cooper Casaubon, Mollie 
Richey, Courtney Richey, Taylor Brooks, Cole Brooks, and Hannah Brooks; brother, 
Floyd Stonecipher and wife Debbie of Teague; and sister, Wanda Phillips of 
Teague.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville D. Brooks; mother, Lucille 
Chilton; and brother, Don Stonecipher.

Arrangements were made under the direction of Bowers Funeral Home in Teague.
