Bernice Mae Brooks
September 12, 1932 - August 27, 2011

Bernice Mae Brooks, age 78 of Fairfield, Texas went to join Our lord Saturday 
August 27, 2011 at East Texas Medical Center in Fairfield, Texas. She was born 
September 12, 1932 in DeSoto County, Fort Ogden, FL. She is survived by one son, 
Gerald Keen and wife Linda of Palestine, Texas; three daughters Linda Pennypacker 
and husband George; Geneva Mayfield and husband Bobby of Fairfield, Texas; Vivian 
Sanderson and husband Ken of Sachse, Texas; four step children Buddy Brooks and 
wife Kelly; Peggy Harrison and husband Ed; Margaret Hartley and husband Ronald; 
Vail Croslow and husband Mike; twelve grandchildren and numerous great 
grandchildren; two sisters and two brothers. Services will be held in Lake 
Placid Florida at Placid Temple Church of God. Local arrangements were by Capps 
Memorial Chapel.
