Funeral Services Set Thursday For Ruby L. Brooks 

Funeral services will be held at the Haynes Temple Church of God in Christ for 
Mrs. Ruby Louise Montgomery Brooks, 31, who died in a Dallas hospital Saturday. 
The services will be conducted by Bishop F. L. Haynes, pastor. Burial will be in 
the Grove Island cemetery with the Dorsey-Keatts Funeral Home in charge of 
arrangements. Mrs. Brooks was born in Mexia on Sept. 13, 1925 and lived in Mexia 
most of her life. She is survived by three brothers, Ollie Montgomery, Dallas; 
Woodrow Montgomery, Marshall, and Walter Montgomery, Jr., Dallas.
