Maurine (Coleman) Broun 

Maurine Broun, 86, of Fairfield passed away Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2000 at East
Medical Center in Fairfield. 

Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Griffin-Roughton Chapel in Fairfield with
Tom Prentiss officiating. Interment will follow at Birdston Cemetery. 

Pallbearers will be George Westover, John Hurdick, Glendale Minze, Eddy Denbow,
Mike Carroll and John B. Carroll. Honorary pallbearers will be Milton Carroll,
Richy Gonzales, Justin Gonzales and Benton Gonzales. 

Mrs. Broun was born Aug. 18, 1914 in Streetman to J. B. and Jessie Mae Coleman.
She was a homemaker. 

Mrs. Broun is survived by her sister, Pauline Carroll of Streetman; special
sister-in-law, Ethel; nephew, Calvert Carroll of Streetman; niece, Amanda
Carroll and husband Milton of Fairfield; great-nieces and nephews; and cousins,
Winnie Easterling of Streetman and Lucille Sprott of Corsicana.
