Freestone County, Texas Obituaries Fairfield Recorder newspaper Bryan Brown Jr. Funeral services were held last week for Bryan Brown, 29, of Teague who died Sunday, March 16, at Medical City Hospital in Dallas. Mr. Brown was born in Corsicana on Dec. 14, 1978. In 1997, he graduated from Teague high school and was employed as a heavy equipment mechanic. Mr. Brown cherished his family and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Teague. Services were held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 19, at the First Baptist Church of Teague with Darrel Beggs officiating. Interment followed at Greenwood Cemetery. Mr. Brown is survived by wife Vikki Brown; sons Chandler and Christopher Brown; daughter Mackenzie Brown; mother Laurie Rankin and husband Doyle, all of Teague; maternal grandparents Tex and Peggy Meador of Hillsboro; paternal grandmother Joyce Brown of Hillsboro; paternal great grandmother Leonora Williamson of Joshua; maternal grandmother Annie Lou Rankin of Teague; brother Billy Brown, Jr. and wife Laurie of Abbott; nephew Brandan Brown of Abbott; and father and mother-in-law Mike and Brenda Jorden of Teague. He is survived by his wife Vikki Brown; his sons Chandler and Christopher Brown; his daughter Mackenzie Brown and his mother Laurie Rankin and husband Doyle all of Teague. His maternal grandparents Peggy and Tex Meador and paternal grandmother Joyce Brown of Hillsboro; paternal great grandmother Leonora Williamson of Joshua and maternal grandmother Annie Lou Rankin of Teague; his brother Billy Brown Jr. and wife Laurie and his nephew Brandan Brown of Abbott; his father and mother-in-law Brenda and Mike Jorden of Teague and numerous aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends also survive Mr. Brown. He was preceded in death by his father Billy C. Brown, Sr. Visitation was held on Tuesday with the family present from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
