Margie (Minchew) Browne

Margie Browne, 96, of Fairfield, passed away Monday, June 30, 2014 in Fairfield. 
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Capps 
Memorial Chapel. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at Capps 
Memorial Chapel with Rev. Terry Skinner officiating. Interment will follow at 
Fairfield Cemetery. 

Mrs. Browne was born on August 26, 1917 in Fairfield to parents William Leroy 
and Ruby Alice Rosser Minchew. She graduated from Fairfield High School in 1934 
and in July 1936 married E.J. Browne. She was a long time member of Calvary 
Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her 
husband E.J. on December 12, 1971; a son, Lee Judson Browne; a granddaughter, 
Lee Ann Lankford; three sisters and nine brothers. 

Left to cherish her memory is two children, Jo Carole Gable of Dallas; Paul 
Browne and wife Brenda of Cotton Gin; two sisters, Mary Alice Teer of Kirvin; 
Anne Smith of Fairfield; one brother, Aubrey Minchew of Waco; six grandchildren 
and 12 great-grandchildren. 

VISITATION
Tuesday July 1, 2014, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Capps Memorial Chapel 

FUNERAL SERVICE
Wednesday July 2, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at Capps Memorial Chapel 

INTERMENT
Wednesday July 2, 2014 at Fairfield Cemetery
