Bennie Lee Brumfield

Funeral services for Mrs. Bennie Lee Brumfield, 93, of Oakland, California,
were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock in New Zion Baptist Church of
Fairfield. The Rev. S.M. McGuire, pastor, officiated. Burial was in Hopewell
Cemetery-Fairfield, under direction of Moore's Angelic Funeral Home of Teague.

Mrs. Brumfield, who died Sept. 16 in Oakland, was born March 4, 1911, in
Freestone County, and was a former resident of Fairfield. She was a Cook with
the Oakland Unified School District and a member of Christian Bible Way Church.

Surviving are a son, Mario Flowers; two daughters, Rita Johnson and Sharon
Johnson; four grandchildren - Chantel, Joneea, Phillip and Joshua; a brother
and sister-in-law, Boykin and Ella Mae Lee; many nieces, nephews, other
relatives and friends.

Pallbearers were Terrence Wines, Charles Ray Stears, Iva Joe Stears, William
Coleman and Murry Stears.
