       OBITUARY
  Mrs. Sallie Bryson (nee McKnight) was born in Cannon county, Tenn., Nov. 2, 
1848, died at the home of her son, at Bonner, Texas, April 4, 1904. Professed 
religion and joined the Missionary Baptist Church in August 1865, was married to 
S. H. Bryson in 1871 came to Texas in 1882.  Was the mother of eight children, 
three sons and one daughter surviving her. Deceased lived a consecrated Christian 
life for nearly 39 years. Was stricken with the dreaded disease, paralysis, 
three weeks previous to her death, which finally relieved her from the cares of 
this world, and her spirit took its flight for a brighter and sweeter clime, 
where the burdens that necessarily follow us in this life can never come.
